INTRO
Well, hello there!
Nothing really random or interesting to point out here, I actually ended up doing this week’s intro in “First Post”
NEWS
THIS weeks news is especially interesting. Russian forces have continued to drag their feet and even delve deeper into Georgian territory. This is absolutely ridiculous. Just because we have left loons that are too afraid to go to war with anyone over anything doesn’t mean we should let the Soviets stomp all over one of our oldest allies. We need a specific time and date set for the Russians to leave. If that deadline is not met, we need action, not just words. This is what worries me about the world: We give the most foreign aid out of THE ENTIRE WORLD, but our commands and calls for peace are ignored! We need action against Russia NOW!
POLITICS
The Q&A that was held by Rick Warren and the comments made ex-post-facto continue to amaze me. How can Barack (I’m tempted to write B. Hussein Obama) have the gall to claim that “somehow” McCain heard the questions and came up with better answers? That is just ludicrous! Obama is just ticked because making a decision on whether or not to kill something is “above his pay grade.” In case anyone is wondering, “his pay grade” is one that requires him to make tough decisions. I can make a decision (yes, and give an answer with SPECIFICITY) on abortion and I’m not paid to make a decision on such an issue.
LIFE
Unfortunately, I cannot make much of a comment here and now. My life is currently more complicated than can even be expressed on this website. Being as this is my first actual blog submission, mostly close friends will be seeing this and will already know what I’m talking about.
RESPONSES
Unfortunately, I have not thus far recieved a comment or email to comment about in this section. A word of random advise: don’t send threatening emails to the “killinois” shelter. (BTW, breeding dogs is unethical and wrong–especially for fighting purposes)
J. Farris
Look a little deeper into the Georgia situation and you will find out that although the Russians are overreacting, Georgia started this conflict. They are basically a client state of the CIA.
How would the US react if we had troops in Mexico and Guatemala attacked those troops?
And we have given away any moral ground we had by invading Iraq. When you sow the wind, you reap the whirlwind.
Just a thought: Maybe try to link to some articles that back up the info you are sharing so your readers may follow up if they like.
And keep writing!
14toby,
It is pretty much common knowledge that the Georgians hold the US as the shining beacon of freedom. The Russians have been trying to subvertly create a annexation in N. Georgia.
These were two totally different situations.
Even without so-called WMD, Iraq had a tyrannical leader that was bent on cleansing Iraq of the Kurds and Shia. Iraq had a leader that would shoot at our aircraft in the Southern NFZ everyday for 12 years. Iraq had a leader that spit in the face of the UN resolutions time after time.
Georgia is a country that was cleansing itself of corruption, has one of the fastest growing legit economies in Europe, and has completely beholden the democratic process.
A correct comparision is if we started attacking British Columbia because we wanted to control the Alaskan Pipeline through Canada.
